WELCOME TO JENNY GILES CREATIVE REBEL

Each of our clients are very valuable to us and we want to make sure each experience with us is as wonderful and easy as possible, so out of fairness to both our client’s and ourselves, we enforce the following policies and procedures for all photography sessions, workshops and events.


BOOKING/SESSION FEES

Any booking fees and session fees paid are non refundable. A booking fee of £200 is required to book any photography session with Jenny Giles Creative Rebel. A smaller booking fee or the full amount on workshops and events will be payable upfront at the time of booking, and this too is non refundable.

All fees include Jenny’s time and talent and are based on years of training and working as a creative. Consultations to help plan your session or enquire about events and workshops, correspondence via email, phone, message and in person, and your private image reveal session are all included in the fees. It does not include any finished prints or products, unless otherwise stated.


CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

If you need to reschedule your photography session/ ordering appointment/ workshop space/ event space due to sickness, injury or a scheduling conflict, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment date. If less than 24 hours notice has been given, your booking fee/ any monies paid may be lost.

However there is no need to worry, as we understand that life happens. We would gladly reschedule your appointment at our earliest available slot and your booking fee will move with your session, providing enough notice has been given.

Session amendments are reviewed at Jenny’s discretion. Multiple rescheduling of sessions and appointments may result in a £25 charge and/or loss of the booking fee/session fee all together, and clients will be required to pay again if they wish to still have a session with us.

Please understand that during our busiest seasons we may not be able to reschedule for a long period of time, and you will have to wait until our next available appointment.

If you choose to/ have to cancel your session and don’t wish to reschedule, the booking/session fee and any other monies paid will be lost, as it is non refundable.

We also reserve the right to reschedule a session due to our personal or our children's illness, emergency, poor weather, and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will be sure to inform you of any such occurrences soon as possible and we'll reschedule your appointment at our earliest date available.


SESSION

Since we want to give each client our full attention as well as their full amount of time, we ask that you please be on time. If you are over 15 minutes late to your scheduled time slot, Jenny Giles Creative Rebel has the right to cancel your appointment, or deduct the lost time from your appointment, as we wouldn't want to effect our next customers experience, by running over.

For family Photography Sessions - Please bring only the subjects to be photographed to the session as well as a parent or guardian over 21 years old. This is especially important with children as Jenny will need their full attention on her rather than looking at other family members. Of course parents are always welcome, especially if family shots are required!


IMAGE REVEAL AND ORDERING APPOINTMENT

Jenny Giles Creative Rebel is not required to hold or keep your images for any amount of time. You must place an order within 30 days of taking the photos or we reserve the right to delete them.

Jenny Giles Creative Rebel does not provide proofs or online galleries for any sort of portrait session.

A single portrait reveal and ordering consultation will be scheduled. The purpose of the portrait reveal ordering consultation is to review your images for the first time and to make your purchasing decision, so please bring all the people involved in the decision making process, as well as any measurements and sizes you wish to match, as additional ordering appointments will incur a £25 charge.

While Jenny does capture many images during your session, you will see only those images selected by her, the artist, for previewing. Only images purchased will have background defects amended when full payment has been made. She carefully renders each image to ensure maximum artistry and technical perfection, however retouching of subjects or any specially requested edit's will incur a £25 retouching charge per image.


ADDITIONAL ORDERS FOR PRINTS AND PRODUCTS

All photography sessions include images a digital downloads. Should you wish to order additional prints or products, your image reveal and ordering appointment must take place within 30 days of the session, and must be accompanied by either the order paid in full or a 25% down payment if you're unable to make full payment. Final payment is due before any orders are sent to the lab for processing, or any work is done to create your art work. We make every effort to ensure complete satisfaction.

Because of uniqueness of custom portraiture and products, all sales are final. Once your order is placed, no changes can be made.

Please allow 4-6 weeks after full payment has been received, for delivery to Jenny Giles Creative Rebel of your portrait artwork, ready for collection.

Images that you purchase are archived for future orders or reprints for three months from your session date. Accessing the archive will incur a £25 charge per reorder. Images that are not purchased are kept only for 10 days from the date of your image reveal and ordering consultation.

After 10 days, your non-ordered images will be deleted and will no be longer available.

Prices are subject to change any time without notice.

Jenny Giles Creative Rebel will not offer refunds for any reason. We will however, be happy to reprint your order if something is wrong with it on our end, however we make meticulous checks before contacting our clients for collection. We encourage you to check your prints and products before leaving the studio, as we can not accept any responsibility for damage or issues once they have left us.

If purchasing digital files, it is your responsibly to make a back up on your images, to ensure you always have a copy.


ARCHIVING IMAGES

While we try our hardest to back up your images and keep them in a safe place, the problem with digital is anything can happen. Cloud backup service may not work, and hard drives can go bad. We do our best to keep your images safe for the minimum amount of time, but we do not guarantee it and assume no liability for lost digital files. Policies and Procedures

PAYMENTS

We accept direct bank transfer, cash and Paypal - but there will be an additional charge of 10% of the payment being made to cover admin costs.

Payment plans are available should you need. However no images digitally or as prints and products will be released until full payment has been made. If paying in installments for an event or workshop, the full payment must be completed a week prior to the appointment date, or you may well risk being refused access.


COPYRIGHT

The Copyright act protects photographers by giving us, the artists, exclusive rights to reproduce your photographs. Jenny Giles Creative Rebel has the right to use all images for print or online use for marketing purposes, but has decided not to use any images without a signed portrait release form. This form is signed prior to your session and is voluntarily. If you do not wish to grant us the use of the images on social media and for advertising, simply cross through the ‘portrait release’ section when completing your form.

Violations include but are not limited to, making illegal copies, scanning, printing from home, work or other location and downloading from our website social media. It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs in any manner without our permission and violators of this will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.

Please understand, the photographer wishes to maintain complete control over the print quality, finishes and presentation of the images that are reproduced outside of Jenny Giles Creative Rebel, as it may lower the quality of the image, compromise the integrity of our work and our reputation for providing superior portraits.

Jenny Giles Creative Rebel retains the copyright to all images and derivative works thereof. However when clients purchase digital files, a personal print release is granted, License does not include use that results in financial gain including but not limited to: advertising print sale profits, stock photography, or resale of any nature.

The client agrees that he/she may not use any of these images for commercial or editorial purposes, or enter any of these images into competition/s without the express written permission of Jenny Giles Creative Rebel.

The purchase of the original files releases Jenny Giles Creative Rebel from any liability due to loss or damage of the images, and also releases Jenny Giles Creative Rebel from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital file, image or photograph. The client is responsible for creating backups of digital content. Jenny Giles Creative Rebel cannot be held responsible for print quality or colour balance of any other photo printing laboratory, clients own screen calibration settings or for photos printed beyond 10’ x 12’.


MILLAGE CHARGE

There isn't a limit to the distance Jenny Giles Creative Rebel will travel, however a mileage charge of 45p per mile will be charged after the first 25 miles (both ways).

If international travel is required. Jenny Giles Creative Rebel and her assistant (if needed), will have all expenses such as flights, train tickets, boat passes, milage, car hire, insurances, one meal a day and hotel stays for the number of nights required including layovers, billed to you, and full payment will need to be made prior to traveling.


PERSONAL CAMERA/ PHONE/ VIDEO

We do not allow outside cameras/ phones/ videos to be in use during any photography session. But we welcome the use of behind the scenes images at events and workshops - providing all members attending are happy. Please check on the day.
